About

My name is always a problem when I introduce myself, Jónfríð Eliasen - you can imagine. But there you go. I was born in a country called Faroe Islands, a tiny group of islands in the North Atlantic somewhere between Iceland and Great Britain (google it!). Growing up in a small community, surrounded by nature and vast mountains greatly shaped my creativity. I grew up (eventually), found my country very boring and wanted to see bigger and better things. So I moved to Australia to study Photography.

I'm currently a full-time student in my final year at Griffith University in Brisbane. I'm studying Bachelor of Photography and majoring in Creative Advertising with specialisations in Integrated Techniques (Portrait, Experimental and Nude Photography). My strong side is working with people. They tell me more than objects do!
